It’s About You!
We will meet to discuss your ideas and goals, and get a clearer picture of what to expect from each other in the coming weeks or months. You will have the chance to ask me any questions about or address concerns with your project. Each project is unique and requires a solution tells your story, and caters to your business’ goals and solves your real-world problems.

Design
You will get to give feedback on mockups, layout, and navigation. Design decisions will be based on your intake form and our meeting, using my knowledge and experience from decades in the field. I can also source imagery and write content if you would rather have us handle that. Our communication lines will be open, and the site will be tailored to your liking.

Develop & Approve
The site will be developed on a widely used platform with mobile display in mind, and optimized for SEO and accessibility. After changes are implemented and all the content is in place, and you will be asked to approve of the site. At this stage, there is some functionality that will need to be added after launch, and I’ll get to that in the next step.

Site Launch
After launch, you will see your site on your chosen domain! I can set up your hosting and domain registration. Once the site is live, Google Analytics is added for tracking, forms are tested and made secure, DNS settings are added for domain-based email, and the site is tested thoroughly. I will provide an hour’s worth of training on using your site if you’re interested in making your own edits.

Case Study: Anacortes Housing Authority
This housing authority had an outdated html website that needed to look more inviting an appealing. They also needed a new logo.
I developed a new logo, providing three alternatives to choose from. The one they chose is now on their vans and signs.
The site was completely rebuilt, using secure, legally binding forms for applicants. Ultimately, they went back to PDF forms, which are now in place, although some of the less complex forms still use the signature software.
The image on the home page is a compilation of three images to add some diversity, utilizing my skills in Photoshop.
We have since added a now completed project, as the Housing authority works to provide more options.
